This is a part time position that comes with 4% Vacation pay.

What does a Library Page do?

  • sorting and shelving materials;
  • reading shelves for accuracy (alphabetical and numerical);
  • unpacking and packing boxes of books and other library materials;
  • keeping public areas tidy including clearing study tables

The position requires a general knowledge of library procedures, the ability to deal with the general public in a pleasant manner and the ability to project a positive image of the library. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time, have the ability to push a cart, climb a ladder and bend over to shelve books.
